Enviro-Care Flo-Minutor Logo

The Enviro-Care Flo-Minutor in-channel comminutor does not grind solids.   Instead, a powerful scissor action quickly reduces even the most stubborn solids to smaller, manageable particles that continue moving through the channel.

This ability to prevent solids accumulation and keep the liquid flow moving is essential in pump stations and deep CSO channels that often deal with high flows and large solids concentrations caused by storm events.

Enviro-Care Features and Benefits Logo

Horizontal, shafted conical rotor assembly - Reduces cutter wear from grit, sand and gravel passing through the unit.

Cutter rotor is the single moving part - Reduces maintenance costs.

Value engineered with fewer mechanical parts - The lowest 5 – 10 year life cycle costs in the industry.

Hardened steel cutting blades are sequentially mounted on concentric stainless steel rings - The cutting blades are staggered so that 100% of the hydraulic motor’s force is exerted on each blade.

Cutters and knives are D2 tool steel hardened to Rockwell 55 - 61 - Longer life, corrosion resistant and hard enough to cut steel.

Liquid flow produces a self-cleaning action - Particles are continuously being washed through the conical rings.

Totally submersible - No damage to motor if submerged.

Auto-reversing - Reduced operator intervention.

Easy handling - Unit can be lifted with standard davit crane or service truck.

Cutter blades are uniform in size and easily accessible - Insures ease of change-out.

All components are readily accessible - Cutter blade replacement does not require unit disassembly.

Units are sized by average flow and not channel width - Requiring smaller units saves plants money.
