The advanced design of the Flo-MultiRake Bar Screen enables this screen to handle more solids, more efficiently, yet it is engineered to keep mechanical complexity and maintenance to a minimum.

The 75° angle of inclination exposes more screen surface to the influent resulting in higher solids capture without fall back. The multiple rakes on the Flo-MultiRake screens remove those solids and clean the screen bars three to six times faster.  The FMR-F fine bar screen, followed by the Flo-Drum rotating screen, are being used worldwide as MBR pre-treatment systems.

A perforated media screen, FMR-P (2 mm to 6 mm openings), is also available and is specifically designed for pump stations and industrial applications with high solids loadings.

The FMR-C coarse bar screen (openings from 12 mm to 50 mm) has a unique lower chain guide with no moving parts and no need for lower sprocket and bearings.
The design of the FMR-F fine bar screen (6 mm to 10 mm openings) adds lower sprockets but with maintenance free bushings which are recessed into the side rails of the screen.

Enviro-Care Features and Benefits

Multiple cleaning rakes with the ability to add more rakes depending on unit size - Faster, more efficient removal of solids.

Angle of inclination 75° - Provides more screen surface to the incoming flow and captures and holds more solids.

Angle of inclination 90° - Vertical screening option for those difficult channels.

Coarse and fine bar screen openings plus perforated media - Customized choices depending on application.

Fully enclosed above channel level - Odor control and operator safety.

Fully automatic operation - Ideal for unattended locations. Extremely reliable operation.

Durable, heavy-duty screen construction - Able to withstand max. hydraulic forces of  wide channels and high flow wastewater streams.

Not sensitive to cold - No heat tracing required.
